Perhaps an umbrella designed for use with a flash would repel water. In that case, you could use a Manfrotto "Super Clamp" on a tripod leg with an articulated flash/umbrella adapter on the 5/8" stud.</p> <p>Alternately, get two "Super Clamps" and fasten them together with a double-ended stud.
