<p>They make parasols for baby strollers that clamp on and articulate to shade the baby. You could google "parasol stroller" for some ideas.</p>

<p>I don't know of anything specifically designed to hold a rain umbrella, handle and all. Perhaps an umbrella designed for use with a flash would repel water. In that case, you could use a Manfrotto "Super Clamp" on a tripod leg with an articulated flash/umbrella adapter on the 5/8" stud.</p>

<p>Alternately, get two "Super Clamps" and fasten them together with a double-ended stud. Clamp one to a tripod leg or column and the other to the umbrella handle.</p>
