Copper shim?

<p>The camera will operate fine without the shim. However the image in the viewfinder will look a little fuzzy on one side. Why? The shim is used to precisely position the focusing screen in the focal plane. So now one side of the focusing screen has a shim whereas the other side lacks a shim...</p>

Sometimes the light’s all shining on me. Other times I can barely see.
