richard_f
Just picked up a used one, no manual. From the downloaded version I found on the net, it looks like the procedure is to set the speed to "T", press the shutter release, and then move the shutter from "T" to 1 second when you are done. Is this correct?
If so, what's been your experience as to whether moving the shutter off "T" results in camera shake and blurred frames?
Thanks!
graham_martin2
Couldn't you use a cable release with a lock and then just "unlock" it at the end of your exposure? I would think that you would be very prone to camera shake by moving the shutter from T to 1 second while the shutter is still open.
jerry thirsty
You need to hold a black card or something up in front of the lens while you move the shutter speed dial out of "T".
tony_cunningham
I have a circle of black card with a rim that I just hang over the lens hood. When I forget it a cupped hand works. Alternatively holding the camera firmly on a rice bag with one hand/finger while turing the speed ring also works.
I have not tried a cable, but there is no 'B' setting on this camera, so I am not sure whether this works.
