jack_franklin Posted January 18, 2010 Share Posted January 18, 2010 <p>I just got a new Macbook... I am running 10.6.2. I installed Lightroom and it did install. When I open Lightroom I get the Lightroom window and this error. Lightroom is there but will do nothing. I have installed Lightroom 3 bata... All same result... "An error occurred when attempting to change modules". patricklavoie Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 <p>call aodbe tech support.</p> <p>trashing the application doestn take away bad preference.. that does nothing other that making you think you trash the bad software while keeping the real problem on your computer.</p> <p>or you could also try to create a new user in your mac account, log out your current user, log on using the new user, install lightroom with this one and see if it work..if so, you got something wrong in your system with your other user.. nothing really adobe can do i think other than suggesting you need to reinstall your systeme correctly or remove anything gadget like.</p> <p> </p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But if you do get it working, have a recent mac running snow leopard, open upp the app info in finder and unclick "start in 32 bit mode", see if you notice any speed differenc.</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
