Recommended Software for Slideshows

Hi,
I want to be able to present quality slideshows to b + g and other clients of their post-shoot edits and am looking for software suggestions. I've tried creating one straight from Lightroom as a presentation straight from my computer, but it seems to get caught and loops back to the beginning before it's done cycling through all the images. I would like some versatility so that I can present from my computer as well as be able to upload this to my website and use it as a compliment to an online proof + print gallery (smugmug).
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Andrea

I am a NYC Wedding photographer and use ShowIt slide-show software to display slide-shows on our blog. It's pretty easy to use. Here is link to see examples on my blog:

The product can be found at http://showitfast.com/products.php?op=web2 You can download and try it for free from that link.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for all of your input. I think ShowIt wins... seems to have pretty good quality with a versatile end-use. I don't want to have to use one piece of software for on-screen, a different one for web, and a third for DVD.
Much appreciated,

Have to agree with Ed here, Andrea. Looking at the other software mentioned, most don't come close to Proshow (though I couldn't tell what in the heck Photomagico was supposed to be ~ I admit, I did not spend much time looking when it was not obvious). Animoto seemed somewhat comparable, but it appeared that the cost was a yearly expense and who needs that! Showit looked as though it would give you rudimentary tools but would have nowhere near the capability of Proshow. It's like this: A Chrysler K car is (or was) an automobile, and so is what they rage around NASCAR tracks in. Which one would like to drive in a race? With Showit you'll be fine...unless you run into competion who are using Proshow. : )

I use Adobe After Effects because it lets me create my own bespoke templates, it's more for video compositing but it gets me decent results: http://www.movingpix.tv
I also offer a 'white label' service for photographers who want to have their own brand/contact details on slideshows I produce ;)
As far as other software goes, I hear Pro Show Gold's pretty good - it comes with ready-made templates which don't look too cheesy.

Hi, i like to use Photo MovieTheater. It is a good slideshow creator software.
using that, you can add background music, caption, illustration, effect, trasition, etc.
Of course, you can put the slideshow on CD, DVD. and you can enjoy it on TV.
More than that, Photo MovieTheater support HD output. It allows you to have a
new experience in HD slideshow.
