stephen patience
Folk s ,
I have recently purchased a Konica Minolta Dimage Multi Scan Pro (second hand) off eBay but it ne eds some attention to the cogs that load the film trays. They appear slightly worn on one side and don't assist very we ll with loading. I know this model is discontinued and sales and support is no longer available. Does anyone have spare parts or old scanners no longer used, or even a technician I can talk to that can work on it, or has worked on o ne in the past?
Thank
paulh
Sony took over servicing & support of the Minolta cameras and scanners, so you could try them.

Failing that, you may need to look for a parts unit.
Robert DeCandido PhD
Hello,

Is the unit the Scan Multi (scans medium format film at about 2800 dpi) or the Multi-pro (scans at about 4800dpi)? If it is the Scan Multi, contact me because I have an extra unit.

There is/are Yahoo groups devited to the Medium format Minolta scanners - very helpful. I highly recommend searching them and joining - post your question there.

rdc/nyc

stephen patience
Thanks Robert. It's the Multi-pro which scans at 4800 dpi. I will attach a picture of the worn peice later but I do wonder if there are some universal pieces between the scanners they manufactured. Thanks also for the tip re. Yahoo groups - will take a look and raise my need there. Stephen
