Rick_van_Nooij
The two medalists in my collection don't get nearly enough exercise, so after reading another topic about them here I decided to respool some film and get on with it. Unfortunately I only had Adox 25 ART in the fridge. Seeing my prior luck with this film I was a little apprehensive.
When I got the negatives back they were in quite a bad way. The lab hadn't bothered to cut the negative and simply put them in a long sleeve. rolled up the film and put it in a cardboard tube. WTH?! the sleeve tends to roll up pretty badly and puts hard creases and corners in a film that is already known for curling pretty badly.
For 2 weeks I stuck them in the biggest book in my library to flatten them out. And after scanning them I wasn't pleased at all, so I never bothered to post the results
Along comes Vuescan

The small pleasure yacht habour near the lock at the end of the "Drongels kanaal". The sign reads: "Danger of falling and drowning, enter at your own risk"

The Lock itself

Duckpond

Sheep grazing on the summer dyke along the kanaal

These two images I've posted before in the other topic on Medalists, both were taken at Fort Veldhuis

Gotta love that 100mm Ektar lens,

Rick
subbarayan_prasanna
As good as your Leica; and better still in some aspects of sharpness and tones. Regards, sp.
richard_
Rick, I'd say you and 'VueScan' are on a roll... I don't have it (nor 'SilverFast'), but may check it out now. Medalists are cool rigs; like the 'sheep grazing' shot. Thanks for the posts...
Rick_van_Nooij
Thanks guy,
The sheep were grossly underexposed, hence the artifacts in the foreground. The HP-scanner software couldn't figure out what to make of this shot at all. Heck, I can't make out some of these details on the negative either! So Yeah, Vuescan has made my weekend :)

rustys pics
Smooth tones...very reminiscent of the films of the 1940's. Vuescan is a must have if you do your own "Digital Darkroom" work. It will power just about any scanner made in the last 20 years too. Excellent results!
ralf_j.
Excellent Rick, enjoy vuescan, for photographers following the hybrid process, myself included, seems to be quite the catch. As I have mentioned in a previous post, I am a Silverfast user myself, which is also quite good in its own right.
Lou_Meluso
Wow. The quality of the lens really shines through in these. Love that sheep shot!
