Connecting Trigger Receiver (CSRB) with a flash

<p>Does anyone know whether the CyberSync™ Battery Powered Trigger Receiver (CSRB) ( <a href="http://www.alienbees.com/cybersync.html#csrb">http://www.alienbees.com/cybersync.html#csrb</a> ) can be connected with a hotshoe flash with a Mini Phono Plug to Female Hot Shoe Cord ( <a href="http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/586996-REG/Impact_8091020_Mini_Phono_Plug_to.html">http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/586996-REG/Impact_8091020_Mini_Phono_Plug_to.html</a> ) or not? </p>

<p>Yes it plugs right in. If you are using a nikon speedlight you may want to consider this hotshoe. It's very well made and also provides the ability to lock the speedlight onto the hotshoe. The one you referenced doesn't have that ability.<br>

I have one of these on my CyberSybc CSRB+ and it works beautifully. I don't know about the other adapters but why take a chance when Alien Bees has a know working unit.</p>

<p>I have had only great experiences with FlashZebra. Excellent service and handy product selection. The ability to lock your pricey SB-800 or SB-900 on the shoe is worth a few more bucks.</p>
