kyle_hickman
I'm looking for some quality (yet affordable) filters for my Canon 40D, and I've seen all sorts of names and suggestions flying around (Tiffen, Hoya, etc) so I would like to get some advice from you fellow Photo.net photographers. I do mostly nature (outdoor) photography, in case that needs to be taken into consideration, and I use Sigma and Canon lenses.

Any Suggestions?
mwtphoto
the Hoya Moose's circular polarizing filter is great for landscapes. It is a polarizer with a warm up filter to bring the greens back.
c jensen
I second the motion that a circular polarizer would be a good choice for landscapes. Many photographers will also recommend that you purchase multi-coated filters.
westsidesurfing
Is there really a difference in brands of filters? Any suggestions on a Polarizer and UV filter being used strictly for surfing photos on the sigma 150-500mm zoom. thanks
