Lens Filter for Canon 85mm f/1.8?

<p>I just purchased a Canon 85mm f/1.8 lens for my Canon 5D and I was hoping to find a lens filter to protect my glass. I've been trying to search on Amazon for an 85mm lens filter, but I've come up with nothing. Maybe I'm missing something? Does anyone know where I can find a lens filter for 85mm glass? Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks!</p>

<p>Dina, filter size and focal length are two different animals as I'm sure you know. ;-) Like Peter mentions, the correct filter size for the 85mm lens is 58mm.</p>

<p>While I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from B&H, I second Philip's recommendation of some of the filter vendors - I've purchased from 2filter.com and others (camerafilters.com and The Filter Connection) and had good luck with them myself.</p>

<p>eBay also offers what look like incredible deals on brand-name filters, directly from China. Out of curiosity I have got a couple, and the boxes and everything look real enough, and the filters weren't obviously made out of bottle glass. They also are coated, and are indistinguishable by me from more expensive ones I've bought on this side of the pond.</p>
