jimmy_m.
I have a few slides i shot with my new 503CW that are pretty unbelievable. I don't shoot much transparency so i guess i didn't know what i was missing as far as color rendition and 3 dimensional sharpness. Wow! I want to make prints of these slides. Would anyone be able to tell me what is the best way to make nice archival prints from 6x6 slides without picking up too much contrast? I want to know where technology is right now as far as getting big prints from transparencies. I know this was somewhat difficult in the past. What's the best way to make prints from slides without losing any of the image quality? Thanks!
rich815
Have it drum scanned by a quality outfit, and then printed with a LightJet.

lemastre
On the relatively inexpensive front, I've had good luck with Fuji Frontier prints, although I don't know the archival qualities of them. As far as detail goes, I see more of it in the prints than I see in projected slides, but this may be the failing of my old, inexpensive projector lens. john_bright
Jimmy You don't say whether you have darkroom or any facilities to do your own processing.

eosbob
I recently had very nice results with West Coast Imaging. They drum scanned and Light Jet printed 4 35mm slides for me and the results were spectacular. They are on the web at www.westcoastimaging.com
