lance_frost
I have an Interfit (INT411) IR transmitter to trigger my Interfit strobe setup. I would also like the IR transmitter to fire my sb-600. Is there a way to accomplish that? I can't seem to get the sb-600 and INT411 on the same page.
howard_m
as I recall, the SB600 doesn't have a slave mode so if it has an external PC jack, you could use a Wein type trigger or a hotshoe trigger
lance_frost
It does have a slave mode, but it operates off of Nikon's channels and groups. I can fire it with the built in flash on my D80, but not with the INT411.
joseph_wisniewski
Only Nikon flashes having the SU-4 mode slave trigger built in can do this. That includes SB-800, SB-800, SB-80DX, and SB-26. SB-600 does not have the built in SU-4. The SB-600 also doesn't have a PC jack. The only way to get it to trigger from your IR flash is to get a slave trigger that mounts to a hot shoe. I like the original Nikon SU-4 units. Don't know if Wein makes something similar.

devon_mccarroll
You can buy an SU-4 to connect to your flash. I'm still trying to find out from Nikon if it will work with the SB-600, but from what little I've been able to find out elsewhere, it should. It fits into the flash's hotshoe.
