alonzo_e
Dye sub would be the only way to go for photo quality.
godfrey
Dye sublimation and inkjet printers do much better than any form of laser/xerographic printing process at any price range close to $500.
Ed_Ingold
Photo-quality laser color printer? Add that to the list of oxymorons (behind "Congressional Ethics").

Actually, I use a Xerox laserjet mostly for CD/DVD jackets, and contact sheets for my photo customers. Call the quality "good enough" for that purpose. Xerox color is about the best for small business use. There are much better, sharper laser printers, but much more costly, more appropriate for a printing shop.
larrydressler
:) Thanks for the info folks. I think I will just stay with having optical prints made from my scans.
