picturesque
Time to upload one recent image for show and possible critique. Make sure it is 700 pixels or less in width - AND - make sure to enter a caption in the caption box on that page where you've uploaded. Some details about the shot would be helpful. By posting - you agree to allow your image to be chosen for discussion and critique for the week. One will be chosen at random. This is not a contest - but simply an image that we'll discuss. Positive as well as constructive suggestions are what will occur. HOWEVER - IF you wish to post your image but DO NOT WANT to be considered for critique - please say so in your caption. Images that show as a link will be deleted and you'll be asked to re-post. Newcomers and Pros are both welcome to post in this thread. The thread will be closed late on Tuesday. Look for the choice on Wednesday. Please do not start the critique in this thread ;-)

rosina_dibello
The clarity of the image is good, however the guests and the orange chair are very distracting - a different angle might have made for a less distracting background.
picturesque
Rosina--this thread is only for uploading. Please don't start the critique until only one image is chosen for critique. Thanks for your input, but wait until the choice is made.

john_deerfield
This was a wild wedding party. This is one of the more "formal" poses. Taken at the reception, D300, f/2.8, 1/100th, ISO 800, 42mm. Competing key lights. I had a strobe back by the DJ firing into the ceiling/wall as well as an on-camera SB-900. The 900 was flagged with a Demb diffuser so that no light was going forward (thus no window glare/catchlight). Should have done one other thing that I can think off...

tina___cliff_t
ISO 1600, 50mm, f 1.8, 1/60 w/ flash. First ceremony we had where it went dark on us, and there was no lighting because I don't think the couple expected it to get dark that soon. I love how his mom was just cracking up.

theresa_skutt
This was at the end of the photo shoot, and saw a spot light over the name of the ballroom where they had their reception. We had them pose themselves, and captured the touching of hands and a kiss, perfectly natural, under a beautiful light in Union Station, Indianapolis.
