Currently marketed lens hood for the Yashica 35 CC

<p>I recently picked up a Yashica 35CC, and I need a hood. The Hama 52mm rectangular hood is apparently discontinued. The Camera Hunter advertises this hood as part of the Canonet GIII kit, so I emailed him asking if he has any in stock. <br>

Assuming that the 52mm Hama rectangular hood is unavailable, does anyone have other suggestions for a hood which does not obstruct the viewfinder any more than a Nikon HN3 does? </p>

<p>I use a wide Nikon hood on mine, might be a HN-1 from a 24mm.</p>

<p>Have you considered trying a 46mm metal vented hood and a stepping ring up to 52mm? Plenty on these on the big action site for about $ 10 U.S. Since the front element on the CC is not too large, it might not vignette.</p>

<p>I have found that a flower petal hood is useful for rangefinders. I believe you could easily find a 52mm petal hood. You can find them in the auction site with free shipping from Homg Kong.</p>
