picturesque
Time to upload just one image - your favorite - from this or last week. Make sure it is 700 pixels or less in width - AND - make sure to enter a caption in the caption box on that page where you've uploaded. Some details about the shot would be helpful By posting - you agree to allow your image to be chosen for discussion and critique for the week. One will be chosen at random. This is not a contest - but simply an image that we'll discuss. Positive as well as constructive suggestions are what will occur. HOWEVER - IF you wish to post your image but DO NOT WANT to be considered for critique - please say so in your caption. Images that show as a link will be deleted and you'll be asked to re-post. Newcomers and Pros are both welcome to post in this thread. The thread will be closed late on Tuesday. Look for the choice on Wednesday. Please do not start the critique in this thread ;-)

blairhall
First wedding of the year for me. It was a miserable gray rainy day, the rain stopped briefly and they wanted to get a couple of shots outside... so we did! I shot a non-tilted version first and I preferred this one. Enjoy!

john_deerfield
OK, I'm gonna have to cheat and post an engagement shot from yesterday (Saturday's wedding was too big for me to run through and find a favorite right now). This was shot with a D300 and what I call the magic lens: a Nikon 105mm DC (De-Focus control) lens @ f/4, 1/250th, ISO 200. It was a solo shoot for me so it was just an on camera flash (SB900) for some fill. I would liked to have had my flash fired into a "sunshine" reflector camera left.

stephaniaw
The Bride & Groom made their exit at the end of the night with the guest holding sparklers. I took a couple of shots and this was one of the better ones. I had never shot sparklers before. This was shot with a Nikon D80 and 50mm f/1.8.
