julie_g.
I shot a City Hall wedding last week and was hoping to get some feedback. I posted a few pictures on my blog (although there are of course many more). Pictures here. I was particularly trying to improve my posing for formal portraits and lighting for indoor weddings (most of my full weddings have been outdoors).
Advice and comments appreciated!

missy_kay
I think you did a good job! It must be hard photographing in a city hall with not much light. The criticisms I have are that some of the images seem a little dark and could be lightened up to really pop. The flower image would be fantastic with a little editing. Also, I would move your first image and replace it with something else. It's one of my least favorites and the last image you posted is my #1 favorite and looks amazing!
david_schilling___chicago_
I think you did a very good job for the most part and I think the image you submitted for the wedding POW was very nicely done. Compare the post-processing that I added below. The bride is certainly a "squinter" when she smiles and you captured that well. On the formal poses, flip the groom to the other side of the bride, have the bride drop the flowers and have him help her hold the flowers between them (more like this: http://www.photo.net/photo/7552378 ). On photo #26 in your gallery, have the girl somewhat in front of the groomsmen (on the right) and connect them by having her present the girl with his left hand under her elbow. Do a similar pose with groomsmen and girl on the opposite side.....BTW, where was his jacket? For formals, they really need the jacket. Generally good exposures, in focus, nice fill light, I think you did well. Good luck.

julie_g.
Thanks for the comments! The son (groomsman) didn't have his jacket at all that day. Must have left it in the car. Thanks for the posing advice, I'm really trying to improve that aspect.
wedding-photography-denver
Little dark but not too bad.

I would invest in some off cam lighting if you plan to do a lot of indoor posed/group shots.
