sushil
My new D200 stopped focussing AFD lenses. AFS lenses with SWM focus fine. I think something wrong with the focusing screw on the body. When I press shutter release, lens focus is shifting all the way to infinity and getting stuck there, attempting to move the focus ring beyond infinity. Anybody with similar experience? Please help me out.
rffffffff
that sounds kinda strange... the only thing that relates in my experience is that if the MSC focus switch is halfway between M and S it will make af-d lenses work poorly or not at all because it doesnt put the screwdriver portion out far enough...

at least thats one thing to check.
Wouter Willemse
Sounds like the motor (driving the screw) only runs in one direction, so it cannot "hunt" and go back.
Anyway, to me it sounds like a physical defect; get the camera repaired.
joe_a2
Is it happening with one AF/AF-D lens, or several AF/AF-D lenses?
sushil
All AFD lenses and not with AFS lenses showing that there is something wrong with focusing screw in camera.
