george_mazzetti1
I just bought a mint 2720u and want to know if I can use it in Windows Vista. I have another computer that is running XP and I know I can load the driver with a patch from Canon. Is anyone using this scanner in Vista. Also, I would like to know if there is a better software.

George Mazzetti
roger_smith4
If it's like the FS4000, ditch filmget and try Vuescan.
james_naughton
The 2720 is one of the only scanners that Vuescan does not support and I doubt very much that Canon will release drivers for Vista for it. Use it with your XP machine and enjoy. While it has some quirks its still a pretty capable scanner.
