eric_angelo
Wow I am amazed at all the talent on these pages. I only hope to apply what I can learn on these pages to my own photography. this is my first post so I thought I should post my favorite picture. This taken at home of my cat Dora, she doesn't stand still very long so I was very happy with this shot.

don_harper_the_edge
Last week I posted a military funeral so this week I will swing to the other end of life and post a wedding picture. This was a hoot as we were in Washington DC on the 4th of July in the evening going to different sites with the monuments and capital in the background. Keep in mind crowds and street closures but somehow it all worked out.
This is the bridal party on Pennsylvania Ave and I wanted to give the image that old matte paper postcard feel.
Nikon D3 with 24-70mm lens at 70mm ISO 640 f2.8 with Post processing in Lightroom and NIK filters.

steve_lyon1
Just started following the forum in the last couple of weeks as I was researching a new lens to go with my camera. This shot is from a couple of weeks ago...a hummingbird used a wind chime on the patio to build her nest. Here's brother number one testing his wings. The next morning he was off into the world.

melissa_arcuri1
After several months of looking, I have finally decided to join my fellow Nikon lovers. You guys are amazing!!! This was taken at our cities World Refugee Day Celebration in June. I had just acquired my first digital camera after much deliberation. Excited to test it out I volunteered my services to the Refugee Center. I shot 400+ images and had a great time!
I somehow caught these two girls at just the right moment.

D90 Nikon 50mm/1.8

bms
OK, Wednesday, a long day for me. My favorites this week are Lil (marvelous IR), Ton (scary), Janne , Ian (the "Nikon glow"?), Chris C (this is a gem), Jeannean (most appetizing cherries), Kent S (orginality - 7), Bruce M (I get travel fever), Matt L, Tim H , Dan S , John DeMarco (need to liberate my F3 from the closet), Melissa (welcome -priceless expression)

We had a great Blues Festival in Rockland, ME. Some of you may know this guy, Joe Louis Walker. He was great, just as most of them.
