gabesouza
Nice shots everyone. Richard, I especially like you're eagle and Matt's emissions are needless to say interesting. What is that? A tail pipe?

This week is a contribution from a local annual River Festival and these two thought it would be fun to hurl water baloons at the crowd.

Have a great week everyone.

Gabe.

Connor is the goalkeeper for his team which had reached the semi final. in this shot he had unfortunately come to far off his line and the kid in the yellow boots scored knocking his team out.

rarmstrong
John, thanks for that mention, but I also agree with Ton. This thread is great fun and it truly pushes me to do better work, pay more attention to details and think about photography in more creative ways. For every shot I put up, I probably have 200 that I don't like. I think the equality, the diversity and the community of this group is wonderful...one of the best parts of PN.
Dick

conwaygroup
Ton and Richard: I guess I shouldn't have worded that the way I did. I didn't mean to literally start a Hall of Fame, but instead wanted to express my appreciation of your abilities to consistently produce quality captures week after week regardless of the number of clicks it takes. And by the way...you shouldn't be so humble.

wpahnelas
here's the latest installment in my series, wildlife adventures in suburbia. deer must have pretty poor eyesight, because this guy just stood and looked at me for a minute or so, while i kept snapping. couldn't have been more than 40 yards, i'd guess. he finally trotted off to join his two bretheren.

rascal64
Wonderful work everyone. Now, I truly know why I have been shooting Nikons all this time. So I could be part of this thread!

Lil...wonderful IR. I never got the hang of that so I have tremendous respect for anyone who nails it.

Dave W. ...love your cat. great angle. The tilt really defines the cat world.

Jim...great moment. love the kid in the middle.

Wayne...I can even say exactly why your shot speaks to me, but there is a wonderful mood and color/darkness/peaceful to your image.

Here is my contribution. What can I say? I love goats and saw these guys at the petting zoo. I hate seeing them with their horns removed, but they seem to be able to find some peace anyway. Maybe someone should remove my horns and I could sleep peacefully too.
