karthick_ganapathy
Hi Friends,
I am gonna do a shoot by this weekend for a blonde indoors in a house using ambience light and fill light. Going to do both elegant portraits and few implied nude shots. I would like to have some critics before i do the next shoot to correct my mistakes. I am an amateur and I was not paid for these shots. These are kinda portfolio shooting but I am interested in modelling and stuff. I dont think these can qualify as modelling shots. Correct me on posing and technical aspects. Also gimme some suggestion or things to consider for my upcoming shoot. I shoot with canon 400d, kit lens, 50 1.8, 55-250mm, Couple of speedlites.

http://www.flickriver.com/photos/gk-photography/sets/72157618870170696/
http://www.flickriver.com/photos/gk-photography/sets/72157618771487202/

Thanks Very much in advance.
Cheers,
GK
chris_serio
I think you're doing a nice job. The only critique i would offer is that some of the shots were taken in direct sunlight and have some harsh shadows on the faces. Some fill flash would really make the difference there. Keep at it!
raymondborg
I agree with Chris. You might use a reflector to bounce some light on the faces. Alternativley, you may shot the session early in the morning or late in the afternoon to aviod mid-day sun as this is too harsh. Warm regards from Raymond
wayne_glatz
I'm no pro but I know what I like. You hae some very good shots. But are you on the short side? Most of the standing shots are looking up at the models, not eye level. Just a pet peeve, Otherwise nice.
