tracey_c1
Hi all, I've been searching for nice cd cases to hold my high res cds that I give to couples. When I got married my photographer gave me my high res cd in a little metal tin, fairly inexpensive, but nicer than a regular jewel case. What do you recommend? Thanks in advance :)
aimee_pieters
Presentation is everything. Although all of us on the forum realize that our customers are purchasing what's on the disc, the customer needs to feel good about their purchase. I use the Supreme CD/DVD Folios from my friend Ted at Neil Enterprises and they're under $10! He also has a bunch of other styles. I started out using a similar product from Renaissance, but they were $49 EACH. I know Ted gives first-time customers a discount too!
tracey_c1
Thanks Aimee, I just checked out the website. I didn't see anything under $10 though - do you have a specific link you can send me? Thanks!
kiva
Not sure if this is the site Aimee was referring to but they really do look pretty nice: http://www.prostudiousa.com/CDDVD-Albums-SingleDouble-P235C0.aspx

I've been using 1/2 inch thick disc holders (14mm) that I buy from meritline.com (just search dvd case) ... I then print up a very nice collage and slide the fitted print into the see-through jacket on the outside of the case. Simple set up but the print inside the exterior see-through jacket makes it a bit nicer. I buy these by the case and they average out to about .24 cents for each holder.

Personally I like the ones Aimee is suggesting ... it's not a perfect world and I save a few dollars where I can do so and count on good image files to create smiles.
aimee_pieters
Tracey,
Here's the link.
http://www.neilenterprises.com//catalog.cfm?dest=itempg&itemid=2245&secid=110&linkon=Section&linkid=110
I use #174 (scroll down) and they're $114 for a case of 12 which is $9.50 each. Ted will usually give you a first-order discount too!...-Aimee
yoochs pics
those cases aren't very appealing to me. the cases that I use are awesome. You have to design the layout and print it yourself but the cases look very professional.

http://www.jewelboxing.com
aimee_pieters
We all have preferences. That's why there are horse races as they say. To me, this is still a plastic case, not a wedding heirloom....-Aimee
