Lost the cable release socket rubber cover...

I' ve lost the rubber cover that goes over the socket on my camera body for my

cable release... or rather, I dropped it in a mulch bed and can't find it. Does

anyone here know if you can get a replacement one? Buy it somewhere or

order it from Canon? I have an EOS 3.

Thanks.

Order them from canon. They're less than a buck each and shipping is nominal. Get a bunch, they're lovely. I have some myself. If you're in the US, the parts desk number is (732) 521-7230. Just make sure you get the soft rubber ones for the remote socket. I have some hard PC sync port caps now, but they removed the charge so I can't complain, now I have a bunch of both.

Erin, don't bother with it. When I worked at a newspaper, we used to toss the terminal plugs out as soon as we got a new camera. They're in the way and keep you from using the PC and cable release terminals. They only have two purposes: to make the camera look better in advertisements and to be lost immediately.
