larrydressler
Don't ask me why after I finish a pack I am sending it to a few friends and we will all post the photos in 1 place. Anyone ever use one of these? I figured it was a great way to keep instant print film alive.

Call me crazy but never turn on my light if I am in the darkroom

Larry
zane1664879013
I'm considering it after my stock of 600 Polaroid runs out. I'm sure others here will be interested to hear your opinion of the camera & prints.

a._t._burke
Mr. Dressler...

I've had one for years. The film quality is on par with the current 600. It is in between the older spectra HD and the last batch of Spectra regular. The exposure is rectangle rather than squareish. The camera does not offer all the features that the upper cost Spectras had but is quite adequate and better than the entry level 600 shooters. The lens seems OK.

Tom

P.S. Thanks again for your high quality/quantity posts. You are one of the regulars who make photonet in informative place.

ben_long
I had the Instax 500 for a while; it's the high-end version. The Instax film is really nice and quite sharp, but hard to find in the US. Sold the camera because its design was too Fisher-Price toy-like for my tastes.
larrydressler
Well since I have been known to use Fisher Price cameras from time to time no problem there. :)
As for the film I order from Freestyle about once a month film is also no problem I can just have a duel pack thrown in the shipment when I feel like it.

Larry
adam_n.1
i can't speak to the camera, but i have used a polaroid mio for a few years now, and have always run fuji instax (mini in this case) film through it, and i LOVE the way it looks. it's very sharp and the colors, while not polaroid-ish, are unique and beautiful in their own right. i order it from various asian sellers on ebay for around $7 a pack including shipping.

larrydressler
I love it I will be posting some scanns soon it is a honker of a camera and gets great looks. People around here come out just to see what I am shooting that day. The day I took out my "New" Kiev 88 Hassybladski. I had the Fuji with me people were more intersted in the plastic than the chrome. LOL

I do like the colors of the Fuji film not too cartoonish but with a little extra in the red.
pola_junkie
I just shot 100 fashion pictures with one the other night. Overall I like the quality, but the flash is really weak - only good to 3m. Full length shots in dark clothing were challenging.
pola_junkie
As big and strange-looking as the camera is, I have to say that the ergonomics were quite nice, and it was comfortable for viewing as well.
larrydressler
I like it.. it is more than a toy it is a toy with class and glass. yes the flash is weak but I am going to put a tripod mount on it and then we can see some long exposers
