JDMvW
Except for having the ability to push ISO up to a decent but noisy 3200, there's not much difference from your XT. The main advantage of the 20D is more rugged construction and a two-wheel command system that many of us prefer to that on the Rebel series. So I don't see that there is anything that you must have. The noticeable lack in your present collection is an ultra-wide (10-20mm or so).
david israel
Thanks JDM,

The other diffrence was the fast FPS. Believe it or not, I find the Rebel XT better for my Macro work. The color seems a bit better. Both cameras are in "Like new" condition as well. I like the way the 20D feels (Battery grip as well).

And yes, an ultra wide is something I would consider.

Thanks again,

David

chrisjb
Not a must, but I find the Tamron 17 50 f2.8 works quite well on the 20d. good in low light and as a std type constant aperture zoom for most pics (35mm equiv 28~80) course if you Need wide angle then a 10~xx may suit . :-)
everheul
What do you shoot.

I might give a different answer if you say landscapes, than if you say portraits or bird photography.
keith reeder
Well for me the 100-400mm is a must...
dogbert
If it were me I would ditch the 28-80 (a truly awful lens) and the 19-35 Tamron and replace with either Canon EF-S 18-55 IS, Tamron 17-50 f2.8, or Canon EF-S 17-55 f2.8 IS depending on your budget.
