I seem to have heard somewhere that there may be compatibility issues in low light situations, which the TLA 360 may avoid since it is a Contax flash. My situaition is that I need a flash for the Contax 645, but in order to use the Metz I will have to buy an adaptor, and the price is not that far away in Hong Kong from the cost of a new TLA 360! william_yu Posted October 23, 2003 Share Posted October 23, 2003 I have the TLA 360 and it is fine with the Contax 645. I considered the Metz flash but decided on the TLA to avoid any potential compatibility problems. It has been working flawlessly. Only one thing to remember: Contax 645 uses battery power a lot. Even before the camera body gives you a low battery power warning, the power level from the body can be too low to operate the flash properly (like displaying the proper speed or aperture).
