j._mose
Hello,
Two sources that are outstanding for lens restoration are Steve Grimes and Focal Point Lens (John).
skgrimes.com
focalpointlens.com
I would open both websites and read about their services. Both are located in the United States. I have personally used both of them and have been very happy. It should be noted that Focal Point Lens also recoats lenses, although this doesn't apply to your 1860 lens. Best of luck.
J. P. Mose
pete_roody
You can also try ultraflat (www.ultraflat.com). They polished of adamaged coating of my Zeiss lens and did an excellent job. They canalso apply coatings if needed.
