alessandro.vasapolli
Hi,I've just purchased this tool to calibrate my monitor but every time I run the application at the end I get avery pink monitor.I've read all the FAQ on the website and I can't get it to work the proper way...I've got a Mac Power PC G5 with a Mac Cinema Monitor. What can I do?!At the storewhere I bought it they have no clue...Is it normal that the application (Eye-One Match) won't let me choose which type of setup (basic or advance) Iwould like to perform!? Thanks a lot,I'm getting crazy... Alessandro
nobuya_i1
Did you try setting the white point to "native white point," rather than to an optional value? I experienced a similar issue (it was green in my case), and choosing the native white point fixed it. I feel something is still broken...
alessandro.vasapolli
Actually my monitor won't let me select anything ( I mean RGB an contrast: basically what the software ask you to set up for itself). I tried to use different white point: 5500, 6000 K° but things don't change! Actually I realy need an accurate balancing of my monitor's colors because I need to make lots of prints! Any other things that could went wrong?! Thanks a lot for your advice! I think I read something about the green issue on the FAQ page on their website but I don't actually remember very well...you should check it out! nobuya_i1
I was actually referring to the white point setting in the calibration software (Match, I suppose). I think you need to use the advanced mode to get to the white point option.
alessandro.vasapolli
But it doesn't let e use the advanced mode! I have no choice, it doesn't even show me the two possibilities... I'm going crazy.... Thank you... Alessandro
