gary_anthes Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 Kevin, where exactly are you thinking about going? The Cedar Mesa plateau is a huge area. In general I'd say it's accessible year round although steep rock slopes, of which there are many, would be dangerous or impassible if coated with ice. adamschallau Posted November 7, 2008 Share Posted November 7, 2008 One thing to consider is moisture. If it has been raining or snowing I would stay off Cedar Mesa. Even when the roads are wet, it's like driving on ice. I'm heading out there today for the weekend but it looks like I'll need to find somewhere else to shoot on Sunday because of rain.
