pjmeade
Are they confused with the 24-70/2.8 (IS) Mk2?
j_smith6
Probably a mistake. Besides site seems to be a fake. They say you need to ask to know the price. The site is on Chinese server and all the information on the homepage are just copied JPGs.
PuppyDigs
The red stripe looks a little thicker on the new II version. Ah'm sellin' mah old skool won 'n gittin dat won! Sometimes the light’s all shining on me. Other times I can barely see. - Robert Hunter

delwyn_ching
Hmmm, Chinese site pretending toe be German. How suspicious but the USM is II, not the lens itself.

stephen sullivan
Peter, wouldn't an EF 24-70 2.8L IS be a version one? Seeing how there hasn't been a prior IS version of the lens. Now, there could be an EF 24-70 2.8L MK II (Non-IS.) One could suppose that it wouldn't have a telescoping barrel, like the current version. ketil_johansen1
.ch is Switzerland, not China.
anthony_thornborough1
If there's a new 24-105 IS L or 24-70 L it's probably the same lens(es) but with Canon's new SWC coating on one or more internal elements to improve contrast/sharpness with DSLR cameras. Certainly a welcome move.
