john_van_deren
Hi, I recently upgraded from Lightroom 1 to 2.0. For the past 6 months I'd been using the older version just fine, but my filing was not as ordered as I'd like, so I created a new catalog for all images. For images that I'd edited in Photoshop, and are now PSDs, all image corrections transferred fine. However, with my DNGs, none of the image-correction data transferred over. How (if possible) can I retrieve the color-correction metadata from the old catalog and apply it to the same images in a new catalog? keithdunlop
You have to first convert the old 1.0 catalog to 2.0. Open the 1.0 catalog with LR 2.0 and it will ask you if you want to convert it. Once the old catalog is in 2.0 format, simply open the other catalog you created in 2.0 and select "import from catalog" to bring in the other files from the converted old catalog.
