mel_oliver Posted October 23, 2008 Share Posted October 23, 2008 hello, as i am new to all this and am just about to buy a Holga (120 CFN Camera 4 Colour Flash 6x6 Mask to be exact), sorry if this is a stupid question, but i am not sure. as there is an inbuilt flash, would you still be able to shoot photos without the flash going off? is there some sort of switch to turn it on and off? because i really want to get the one with the flash as it looks fun but i'm not going to want to use it all the time. please help! alex_kronish Posted October 25, 2008 Share Posted October 25, 2008 It also has a white flash in case you don't want to use the colors but it's still dark enough to warrant a flash. The only problem is that the batteries go between the square mask and the front of the camera, so if the batteries die in the middle of a roll, you can't change them without exposing the roll.
