Javier I love the bubble man photo. The bubbles look awesome. I also like the one of the lady near the hat stand. George your black and white of the lady with the Jacob's Creek wine is fantastic. And like Javier I was busted a time or two myself. In fact, the lady in the down the pier shot busted me to her husband and moved indoors out of the next photo...lol

Thanks Jemal for the kind words....Part of the fun in street shooting is getting away with it. What a rush, I

tell ya. it is so much fun...I also love taking pics of familys. Those are perhaps my most favorite type. There

is something special about a mom or dad with there kids...Maybe because I spend as much time with mine as

possible and it brings great joy to see happy family's...By the way, I got busted in the third shot. No harm as I

ended up e mailing them the images....+ it helps that I do not look threatening...But there have been times when

it got a little ugly as in having to delete my pics...But it is after all part of the fum...

Here are some of my favs....

Here are three from yesterday at Venice Beach. I call it my Superman Series. Anyway, I was feeling bad since I only had my old black F 80-200mm kit lens from back in the PZ-20 days and an even older SMC 135mm f2.5 lens and everyone else on the beach was walking around with big Canikon lenses. But I think these shots show that the old Pentax consumer lenses can hold their own.<p>

I only wish I could have gotten a better mid-flight shot.

Haig, Set up a photobucket account and upload your images their. Once there, it will manufacture the HTML codes for web postings. Depending on what forum you post in will determin what code to use. On Pnet it uses traditional old school code....that looks like this.

<img src="http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp128/jgredline/Strangers/captured11.jpg">

Here is my photobucket account. I am just now loading pics into it. I was using image shack for a while, but it is too slow and photobucket is cool..I have the pay one, but it is the same as the free one, less the advertisments.

For those who are wondering I was using my Sigma 135-400 lens with my Tamron 1.4tc........

As I was cruising through Long Beach, I saw this beauty from a distance and I shot her...

<img src="http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp128/jgredline/Strangers/acapturedbride1.jpg">

so i walked a little closer and she turned...

<img src="http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp128/jgredline/Strangers/acapturedbride2.jpg">

But suddenly the pro's saw me and chased me away......

<img src="http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp128/jgredline/Strangers/acapturedbride7.jpg">

Or so they thought...I simply moved to a different spot and kept firing..An advantage with a long lens....

<img src="http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp128/jgredline/Strangers/acapturedbride3.jpg">

But she was a shy one at that....

<img src="http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp128/jgredline/Strangers/acapturedbride4.jpg">

Oh, busted........

<img src="http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp128/jgredline/Strangers/acapturedbride6.jpg">

But as you can see by this crop and her smile...She approved.... :-)

Ok then Javier! Let me just put up a few that I already have on my flickr account.

<P>

Oh damn, too many to choose from!

<P>

OK. Here are 6. Only 6. Limiting myself here. Let's see, this first one is a more creative abstract kind of street shot:

<P>

<a href=" 20080726-IMGP0053 title="20080726-IMGP0053 by Garry Young, on

Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3086/2706065275_a8fe795ff3.jpg" width="500" height="333"

alt="20080726-IMGP0053" /></a>

<P>

This next one gets on the list because of the bottle of whiskey. OK - and the girl!

<P>

<a href=" IMGP1690 title="IMGP1690 by Garry Young, on Flickr"><img

src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3117/2770008459_435ce98c4e.jpg" width="500" height="332"

alt="IMGP1690" /></a>

<P>

This next one is one of my best subway shots:

<P>

<a href=" IMGP2544 title="IMGP2544 by Garry Young, on Flickr"><img

src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3292/2805887532_c63936cbbe.jpg" width="500" height="332"

alt="IMGP2544" /></a>

<P>

This one gets posted to demonstrate how there is no such thing as zoning in Taiwan. Industrial, residential, and

farming zones are terms far from people's minds. Took this down the road from my apartment block.

<P>

<a href=" Leveling the rice paddy title="Leveling the rice paddy by Garry Young, on

Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3199/2728118989_a3bc1e2806.jpg" width="500" height="332"

alt="Leveling the rice paddy" /></a>

<P>

Hmm, 2 more. Tough! OK. The next one is one of my favorites:

<P>

<a href=" Billboard title="Billboard by Garry Young, on Flickr"><img

src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3168/2599274961_9f1866a9cc.jpg" width="500" height="500" alt="Billboard" /></a>

<P>

Let's finish off with another subway shot. Balanced the camera on a railing.

<P>

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/garryyoung/2805036983/" title="IMGP2547 by Garry Young, on Flickr"><img

src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3096/2805036983_48f57a7143.jpg" width="500" height="332"

alt="IMGP2547" /></a>

<P>

There. The others are just going to have to wait for another opportunity!
