blades
I noticed when i opened NEF files in CS3 the colours were not correct, so i opened in NX Capure, saved as TIFF then opened in CS3 to maintain the same colours that i had found in NX, or should i say from the camera. I was wondering if i would have the same problem in Lightroom 2 Re colour?? i ask this as i have not bought either of the software packages as yet and im wondering which one to invest my money in. king regards Mark
patricklavoie
You will have the same problem if you dont correctly adjust your color yourself in CS3 or Lr2...both are comparable or better than NX (faster anyway) and vastly us by professional who need to handle mulitple raw type from different camera. I use Lr2 for the image from my canon g9 to a p45 digital back..and any nikon along the way; result are spectacular because i know how to work a raw...NX just give you a automatic correction because they know there camera. But all NX do (as for darkroom and development) can be done in no time in CS3 or Lr2. So you could buy with confidence : )..just be ready to now really work with a raw. howard_m
note that Adobe Labs now has camera specific color profiles that can you loaded into LR2 to get very close to what you want. check it out.
