oza
Hi there, has anybody ever used rolleiflex with the studio lightning equipment. The guy I bought it from said it's possible but i'm not sure how to do it. I guess I need to buy a special trigger? Anyone?? Cheers Oza
larry h-l
It will work with a standard PC synch cord, like most other cameras.
d_purdy
A special trigger?!! One good thing about a Rolleiflex is the locking PC synch cord. You can find them on ebay or probably in a camera store. I love them. The synch cord doesn't fall out all the time like other cameras.
oza
Hey it worked, I used one they had in the studio and it worked just fine;) fell out once though... so I guess I'm gonna try to buy my own;) thanks guys! Next time I'm gonna bring my pentacon six, I believe it should work the same way? :)
frank_skomial
"Next time I'm gonna bring my pentacon six, I believe it should work the same way? :)" - yes, except...on Rolleiflex perhaps you have a leaf central in-lens shutter that synchronizes flash at all shutter speeds, something that you perhaps cannot do with the Pentacon Six ? If in a studio, the difference perhaps does not mean much, since the flash will freez the subject and not the fast shutter.
