william_wrobel
I'm buying a Fujifilm Finepix S2 Pro to play with. I've been shooting with Canon for years and want to just see what other brands look like and feel like to use. Unfortunately I know that it takes Nikon F mount lenses. Which brands and models outside of nikon will be accepted on the camera? Thanks
daverhaas
William - Any Nikon mount lens (no matter who it is made by) will mount on a Fuji S2. As to whether or not they meter or autofocus, that's another discussion. But basicially any Nikon F - mount lens will click right on and work. I have Nikon and Fuji bodies - and use Nikon, sigma, and tamron lenses on both. Dave

daverhaas
Beyond Nikon, I like Sigma and Tamron. Avoid Quantray like the plague. Dave
steve_muntz
I had a Fuji S2 which is built onto a Nikon N80 film camera. It will work with about 99% of the Nikon lenses out there, but will not meter with any lens that doesn't have electronic contacts. Generally, this means you'll need an AF lens (or AF-D or AF-S). It will work with VR lenses.
