Marvin
I'm trying to make a slide show with Microsoft's "Movie Maker". When I import the images it turns them from high resolution to very low resolution images. Is there a way to retain their resolultion?
vincedistefano
Video is 72 dpi. So, no. It would be of no benefit and just slow you down editing.
Ed_Ingold
If you want better results, you may have to elsewhere for software. The ultimate resolution should be that of the video mode - 480x720 pixels for standard definition, 1080x1990 for 1080 HD, etc. Flash and Quicktime outputs are generally reduced to save bandwidth in streaming and compression artifacts abound. Any competent DVD compiler can handle still shots at full standard definition specs, which is at least twice as good as broadcast SD video. harri_sunvato
I've done this with the Movie Maker in Vista. That did not convert the resolution of the photos? I was able to export it with HD quality. Are you using some XP version, or?
