wgpinc Posted August 27, 2008 Share Posted August 27, 2008 I bought some Hexar rear 'M' mount lens caps when they were still making the RF lenses. They were decent quality just like their lenses. Cameraquest sells some non Leica 'M' rear caps. >> M Rear Lens Cap, generic M mount rear cap, plastic, NOT made by Leica $15 ea or 3 for $40 <<. I'm sure if you find them the genuine Leica caps will be expensive. I have bought a few front and rear caps on the bay with generally good results. Good luck. christer_almqvist2 Posted August 29, 2008 Share Posted August 29, 2008 Losing the lens cap is not so bad. Really bad is dropping the lens because you picked it up by the back lens cap.
