Nikkor 105mm f2 Defocus Control Lens (title corrected)

Do you mean the Nikon 105mm/f1.8? I don't think there is an f1.2 version of the 105mm Nikkor.

Nikon shows that they still make the defocus control 105mm. (It's in stock at B&H)

Other than that there are Manual focus and Auto focus 105mm f2.8 micro lenses.

... or do you mean the 105 f/2 D DC (defocus control)? Lenses with f/2 are often shown as f/1:2. So far as I know, the 105 f/2 D DC is still available new.

My mistake, lens = 105/f 1:2D AF CD (defocus control) and, as indicated above, a going concern.

Incidentally, a very sharp lens, sharpest I've ever tried. (I am borrowing one).

I have had this lens for about 10 years and it's an excellent portrait lens, very sharp. I did not use it as much with DX cameras as it became a 150 mm, but when you do have enough space to use it in (like out doors) the defocus effect is great. You can defocus in in front of or behind the subject. I know it is still available, Also works great for floral or nature when you want to isolate the subject and defocus the area surrounding it.

When I get my FX DSLR I shall be using this lens a lot more. It's not a cheap lens.
