mark_audacity_romberg
No dice on KEH or that auction website at the moment. Does anyone have either the grip (the finger grip that attaches to the body, not the winder) or the 2-13 screen that he/she would be willing to part with—or an idea where to find them? wellinghall
Could you give me some more information on the grip, Mark - I don't think I've come across them before. Thanks Andrew
mark ellis
both items command fairly hefty prices when sold on a certain auction site. in the UK, i'm aware that Luton Cameras (http://www.lutoncameras.co.uk/) often have OM accessories (more than what is listed on their website) inc. 2-13 screens... john_hermanson2
These two items are hard to get. I haven't seen a Grip 1 in a while but sold my LAST - TWO 2-13 screens within the last week. What many people don't know is that the OM-G (OM-20) screen, LC4124, is same brightness as a 2-13 & 2-4 (about 2/3rds of a stop brighter than a stock screen). I think OM-PC (40) is the same. This does not apply to OM-10 or OM-F (30). Only difference is the absence of a tab. If you handle the screen carefully by the edges, NO problem. mark_audacity_romberg
Hey, thanks, John! An OM-G/OM-PC is probably cheaper than a 2-13 these days. My OM-4 came with a 1-13 installed, and I can use all the VF brightness I can get.
Andrew—it is a small wedge-shaped grip that screws into the right side of the camera. It's similar to the Canon AE-1P 'action grip' and helps you keep a more positive grip on the camera.
