eric_hurtado
Does Fuji built all the HC lenses, or Zeiss still makes the calculation of them? Can you give me a link about these questions? Thanks in advance.
paul_gardener
All HC lenses are Fuji designed and build. Carl Zeiss did not design nor did they build lenses for the H series. They were committed to built lenses for the Contax 645 AF camera. Their contract with Kyocera was to supply AF lenses for this 645 camera exclusively. q.g._de_bakker
"All HC lenses are Fuji designed and build."

Fuji and (!) Hasselblad's optical design department both design the lenses. It's a joint effort, though not quite an equal effort yet.
Fuji then fabricates the optical components, Hasselblad builds the shutter, and Fuji assembles the lenses. stuart_richardson
They're still very good lenses. And you can get an adapter to use all the 500 series V system lenses on the H series cameras too.
