peter_steeper
I cannot remove my 100mm macro from my 20D. I can turn it slightly but it will not come off the camera. In thelast two days sometimes the aperture displays as 00. Turning the lens slightly in the mount fixes this problembut I've had no problem changing lenses until today. I don't know if these two problems are related. Any suggestions? Any ideas how much it might cost for service?

neill_farmer2
There are a number of screws and a locking pin around the lens mount. If any screws come loose or the locking pin linkage is faulty the lens can get stuck on. Looks like a camera tech's job. FWIW I had a similar problem with a Minolta that was caused by a broken linkage to the locking pin after I tumbled with the camera hitting the ground first. I don't think it's wise to force it, might do more damage, but the Minolta came free if you jiggled it just so. Good luck.
