david_price5
I have the Tokina for my 400D and I can say that it is a very well built lens with good quality optics. The Fisheye effect isn't too pronounced at 17mm but things get fishy at 10mm. The zoom is worth having tho'. The close up abilities of this lens are greatly underrated, at smaller apertures you can have things almost touching the lens. I imagine that vignetting would be a severe problem below 15mm on a FF body.
mark u
Sigma make several fisheyes - 4.5mm, 8mm, 10.5mm and 15mm. I suggest you look at the following thread for some more guidance: http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00PuYD
Jim_Tardio
Can't speak about the Tokina, but I had a Sigma that wasn't good at all...soft images and absolutely horrible AF. I've succumbed to temptation several times and purchased third party lenses, and I've always regretted it. <p> In my opinion, they all are a waste of money. Spend a bit more, save yourself a headache, and get the real thing.
