3zs
Hi All - Im starting a business doing youth sports photography and I need some advice on a printer to buy so I can printonsite at the event. Im finding most of the images I sell are the standard 5x7 8x10, 11x14...with the 16x20 or poster size images oncein a while that Im happy to send to the lab to print My camera is a D300 and most of the time im shooting jpeg. Ive got a mac laptop that I would connect it to - apowerbook. Any advice on a good printer, inks and paper is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. 3ZS
casey145
I would consider Epson R2800 or R2400 I. I like Epson Photo Gloss paper above about 240gsm. HP pretty much the same spec. Epson UltraChrome inks looks very interesting. Also the choice of trying the larger ink systems that you can hook up to the 2400 I think. For about the 150-200 mark in the UK. I dont think that system is available with the chrome ink though. Not sure how this would hold up to the volume you might be going though. Are you out in the field or indoors when printing?
