daniel_harris
The sports board has a "What did you shoot this Weekend" thread each week. I thought it might be nice to do something similar with nature shots. So I will start it off. <br>A colleague and I take some students backpacking each year in the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness of the Central Sierra Nevada. All Photographs were taken with a Kodak CX7330 P&S.<br><br><a href="http://s254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102/gaelson/photnet/?action=view¤t=100_6614.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102/gaelson/photnet/100_6614.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br>On the Trail<br><br><a href="http://s254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102/gaelson/photnet/?action=view¤t=100_6616.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102/gaelson/photnet/100_6616.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br>Part of the Dardanelle Cones and a contrast of different igneous rock.<br> <br><a href="http://s254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102/gaelson/photnet/?action=view¤t=100_6620.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102/gaelson/photnet/100_6620.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br>Lost Lake<br><br><a href="http://s254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102/gaelson/photnet/?action=view¤t=100_6633.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102/gaelson/photnet/100_6633.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br>How did that get there?<br><br><a href="http://s254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102/gaelson/photnet/?action=view¤t=100_6644.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102/gaelson/photnet/100_6644.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br>Snow Plants
richard_crowe4
Just three apricots. Actually, my wife was selling a part of our crop in the neighborhood farmer's market and I did this image for her sign.<div></div>
bill_bayless
Here is my contribution. This Raccoon has visited my bird feeders a couple of times, but today he posed for pictures. I have not idea what might have happened to his tail, but he doesnメt have one. <img src="http://tangoway.com/Picture_Pages/Wildlife/Wildlife_Mammals_misc/Images _Wildl ife/raccoon_3407a.jpg">

dhauschild
Kansas is not all flat fields, there is an occasional oasis here and there; this is one of them. It is one of my favorite spots for nature photography.<div></div>

steve_levine
These are small mouth bass hatchlings in NYS's Mohawk River. In a few years they will be chasing eels, frogs and other fish. Right now they are hanging out along the shore trying to stay off the menu themselves.<div></div>
derek_thornton1
I went to the Great Smoky Mountains last week. Knocked off 180 shots and got to try out new 50mm f/1.8. Today shot a nesting Thrasher in back yard. Here is a shot of Smokies from Blue Ridge Parkway with 50mm. derek-thornton.artistwebsites.com
