Are there any 40D complaints

Moved up to 40D from the 350D/ Rebel XT. <br>

Actually <bold>*love*</bold> my 40D for its versatility and value. It offers more than I could ask for.<br><br>

 

I usually say that "My 40D is a better camera, than I am a photographer !"<br><br>

What a great thread. I ordered a 40D, I'm stepping up from a 400D. I pick it up at Hong Kong Supplies on Friday. I can't wait.

After 45 year of photography, I would say that the 40 D ranks right up there with the best cameras I have owned. Someday Cannon will produce a camera that will be a better camera and when that happens I will replace the 40D until then I will continue to use my 40 D just about everyday.

My only complaint is that when shooting, I have accidentally rotated the mode dial - OOPS! I've just jumped from Tv or Av to M! I wish that the dial had a "notch" similar to what a compound miter saw uses to lock in an angle for a cut. I'd like the mode dial to be designed so that you might have to lift (or depress) the dial slightly to rotate from one mode to the other. Since there is no "notch" I'll just have to be more careful, won't I.
