mark_ferguson1
Probably a blindingly obvious answer, but if you load a roll of film into the 67 and wind onto the first frame, is it possible to unwind the film and replace with another type? Thanks.
richterjw
I have never seen an MF camera where that was possible, but mine are all older than me. JR
dave_s
I don't have a Pentax 67, but I believe in most medium format cameras it should be possible to do this in a darkroom or changing bag.
danny_wong2
Yes, you can. Just open up the camera in total darkness and remove both spools. Then wind the film back onto the original spool keeping the film tightly tension so it won't unravel and no light will leak through the space between the backing paper and spool. stwrtertbsratbs5
It's easier to buy a camera with interchangable backs.
dale_yarbrough
Mark: You can by following the recommendations above....However, the dark room method doesn't do you much good if you're in the field. I had the same problem, so I purchased another body as backup and I load them with different film. Use one, then the other. Works well for me. Good luck.
