Anybody from the Green Bay, Wisconsin area? Looking for good shoot locations

I've been asked to do a wedding in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area and I'm not

familiar with any great locations for shooting some bride and groom shots

around there since I live a few hours away.

Last night the bride and I did a phone consult and she mentioned wanting to go

to a local botanical garden. I advised her to check with the garden to make

sure they'd be open, and if they would allow pictures. I just heard from the

bride: the gardens won't be open on weekends until May.

So my question: her wedding is at Pamperin Park (indoors, thank goodness!)

Does anyone have a recommendation of anywhere relatively close for some nice

pictures? And yes, I know this opens up a whole can of worms with the Packers-

but that is not the look they are going for!

Thanks in advance!

Rebecca, just google green bay wisconsin and search.

I'd be on the phone to the botanical gardens immediately ... it sounds and looks lovely. I found them in 30 seconds with the above google: there contact information is here:

They might even direct you to other sights photographers use for photos in the area if you call them and chat them up on the phone: well worth the few minutes it would take to do the work yourself.

Have fun, it sounds like a wonderful bride and groom couple if they liked the botanical gardens. Ask the contact person at the botanical gardens if you can get in to do the shoot ... I bet they'd accommodate you if you told them you're from out of town to do a wedding.

I'd suggest looking through links you google on the city mentioned and make a few calls and see what you find.

Thanks William. I might try giving the botanical gardens a call to see if they can recommend any other places, but I know that the botanical gardens is not open for pictures this weekend because we already checked.

But I do like the St. Norbert and downtown ideas that Ken listed. The bride liked those, too.

Thanks again!
