Image Size and DNG Conversion Error(?)

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I converted some RAW files into DNG files, edited the images as RAW files using

Photoshop 8.0, and then saved them as TIFF files. I've worked on very many

pictures before I realized that the image size was at 240 ppi rather than 96,

and width and height have been inversely reduced. Where did I make the mistake

and how do I correct the files I would work on from this point on? (I believe

that it was at the DNG conversion level.) Secondly, what is the most expedient

way to change the image size of the documents I've already edited? Is there a

way to do this without having to redo the RAW editing in Photoshop? I hate to

think that I've wasted all that time I spent on them the first time. Thank you

for your aid.

Alan,

I wasn't clear enough. The ppi is not what concerns me. The problem is that the image width and height have been reduced in the process. For example, a 45x30 inches image was reduced to an 18x12 inches document. That's the problem. Thanks.
